2002
Finished the 2002 season with a .283 batting average that included...17 hits...two doubles...one triple....three home runs...10 RBI...2002 RECAP...Played defensively for just one inning in the opening game with BYU on Jan. 25 due to soreness in his right shoulder...played in just one game against New Mexico (2/4) but had two hits in his two at-bats...made back-to-back starts against TCU and Southwest Texas in the Lone Star Classic and picked up one hit and three walks...hit the first home run of his career at Dan Law Field in the second game of the series with Seton Hall (a three-run home run to help Tech rally to a 10-9 win over the Pirates)...had an outstanding game against Texas on March 8 as he went a perfect 3-for-3 at the plate and scored a run...hit his second home run of the season against Texas on March 9...went 5-for-7 at the plate against Texas during the three-game series March 8-10...got his second home run of the season as a pinch hitter performance against Missouri on March 29th.

Earned his first two starts of the season in left field against Cal-State Northridge on Feb.11 and New Mexico on Feb. 13...started the final game of the three-game New Mexico series on Feb. 25 where he went an impressive 4 for 4 with two RBI...started his first conference game against Nebraska on March 3...went 3 for 4 against Oklahoma State with an RBI to lead all batters...made all three starts against Oklahoma State in left field and finished the weekend with a .462 on base percentage...tallied his first four RBI game of his career against Baylor in the series finale (5/13)

Team won the state championship in 1999 and 2000...team went 24-0 his senior season and 22-3 his junior year...named all-district twice...all-city twice...All-State twice...hit .516 over three years on the varsity team with 17 home runs, seven triples, 27 doubles and 92 RBI
