Completed his freshman season with an 0-0 record and a 5.73 earned run average ... made seven appearances - one start and six in relief ... logged 11 total innings ... earned his first start as a Red Raider in the series finale against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, logging 2 1/3 innings while surrendering two earned runs on four hits ... pitched 2 1/3 innings of relief in Tech's win over UNLV on April 22, allowing two earned runs on four hits ... surrendered three runs on four hits in two innings of relief in Tech's loss to Oklahoma State on May 16.

HIGH SCHOOL
A 2008 graduate of Class 4A Randall High School in Amarillo, Texas ... earned varsity letters in basketball and baseball ... coached by Steve Ribera (freshman and sophomore years) and David Walden (junior and senior years) ... as a junior he helped Randall High School set a school record for wins in a single season as they went 31-9 and advanced to the state semifinals ...a s a senior, his team went 31-11 and made its way to the regional finals of the state playoffs ... as a junior he earned First-Team District 3-4A honors while as a senior he was named the District 3-4A Most Valuable Player and also garnered Second-Team All-State accolades ... posted a 13-3 record on the mound with 141 strikeouts and a .432 batting average.

Born on July 6, 1989, in Amarillo, Texas to parents Perry and Joanna Foster ... his father is an electrician and a graduate of OPSU while his mother is a teacher and a graduate of Amarillo College ... has one older sister, Brittney, and a niece, Marley ... enjoys hunting and watching movies ... majoring in business administration.
