2004
Was one of Tech's better middle inning relievers throughout the 2004 season...made 21 appearances out of the bullpen and logged 29 innings on the mound...tallied a 6.52 ERA and was 2-0 with two saves... Named to the Minute Maid Classic All-Tournament team after a spectacular relief appearance against Houston. He pitched the final 4 2/3 innings allowing just one hit and struckout five to earn the extra-inning win for Tech... Had one of his better performances of the season at No. 12 Nebraska on April 10 as he pitched the final 3 2/3 innings allowing just one hit and struckout six to preserve Tech's 10-7 lead. The save was his first of the year.

AT NEW MEXICO JUNIOR COLLEGE
Played two seasons under head coach Ray Birmingham...his first year he helped lead New Mexico JC to a 54-12 record and a spot in the regional tournament...went 6-1 that year with a 4.00 ERA and earned all-conference honors...his second year the team went 52-14 and again qualified for the regional tournament...was named to the all-conference team as well as team MVP...finished with an 11-3 record, a 3.78 ERA and 96 strikeouts in 100 2/3 innings.

HIGH SCHOOL
Played under head coach Sonny Cason at Class 5A Mansfield High School in Mansfield, Texas...his team posted an undefeated record through district play in his senior year and advanced to the regional quarterfinals of the state playoffs...went 7-1 with fives saves a senior earning him all-district honors...as a junior he went 7-2 and was part of a regional semifinal qualifying team.

Born on March 23, 1983 in Euless, Texas to parents John and Lynn Fry...father John works as an electrician and is a graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington...mother Lynn is a graduate of Tarrant County College...has a younger sister Lindsey (17)...his father played football at Ranger Junior College where he was part of a national championship team.
