2003 Finished the year with a .338 batting average that placed him behind Scooter Jordan and Christian Colonel...tied Colonel for second place on the team with six home runs...finished 2003 with 70 hits, a team-high 15 doubles, a team-high four triples and 50 RBI...BIG 12...hit .297 which again ranked him third on the team...tallied three home runs and 14 RBI...Started all three games of the season opening series with New Mexico recording six putouts and six assists defensively and hit .429 with two RBI....went 8-of-14 (.571) against San Diego in the three game series and put up five runs and nine RBI...hit a three-run home run to give Tech the lead against San Diego in the second game of the doubleheader on Feb. 9...started all three games of the San Francisco series and went 5-of-13 at the plate with one error and 11 assists defensively... went 2-for-4 with a triple and three runs scored to help lead Tech to a 15-11 win over TCU on Feb. 18...hit .400 (4-of-10) in the weekend series with TCU (Feb. 22-23) and put up a 1.000 fielding percentage...went 5-for-12 (.417) against Texas A&M and recorded five putouts and 12 assists...led the team in hitting in the Kansas series by going 6-for-13 (.462) with one home run and four RBI...hit .33 in the final series of the year against Oklahoma State...led the team with five RBI in the series and accounted for three runs scored.
