LAST SEASON Was one of Tech's better relievers in 2005 and ended up with the second most appearances on the staff with 25...ended the season with a 3-0 record and tied Tanner McElroy for the most saves with four...totaled a 4.30 ERA through 44 innings of work...allowed 21 earned runs on 38 hits...issued 24 walks and eight hit batters...was second behind Billy Carnline for the most strikeouts with 52...opponents hit just .244 against the left-hander and only nine of 30 inherited runners scored when he came into the game...made his first of two starts on the season at Kansas State on April 17th...he lasted just 2 1/3 innings against the Wildcats before being chased away after giving up two runs on three hits and walking a season-high four batters...redeemed himself in his next start as he got a win at New Mexico State on May 17th...he held the Aggies to just one hit over four innings and struckout a season-best six batters...IN THE BIG 12...ended Big 12 Conference play with a 2-0 record along with one save...tallied a 6.06 ERA in 16 1/3 innings while allowing 12 walks and four hit batters...struckout 16 and league opponents hit .241 against him.
