Played two seasons at UT-Pan American in Edinburg, Texas, under head coach Manny Mantrana ... IN 2009 he made 50 starts for the Broncos in the outfield and ended the season with a .314 batting average in 194 at-bats ... compiled 61 hits and that included 18 doubles and six home run ... drove in 39 runs and walked 24 times ... IN 2008 ...
