Played baseball at Midland College under coaches Steve Ramharter and Brian Rienke and Ryan Johnerson…was an All-Conference selection and an Academic All-America in 2002 and helped lead his team to the conference championship with a record of 45-12…tallied an ERA of 2.23 in 85 2/3 innings of work with 89 strikeouts.

HIGH SCHOOL
Played baseball at Coronado High School in Lubbock, Texas…was coached by John Dudley, David Arterburn and David Johnson…was an All-City selection his junior and senior seasons as well as an All-District pick, All-South Plains pick and All-State selection….was an Academic All-District selection all four years….was the first player in Coronado High School history to toss a perfect game…named one of Coronado’s top ten pitchers in history…helped lead the Mustangs to the district championship as a junior and to the playoffs all four years…was a member of FCA and YoungLife…graduated from Coronado in May of 2000.
