1999 at TCU: Played one season for head coach Lance Brown at TCU … started 50 games at middle infield for the 32-26 Horned Frogs … hit .302 (55-182) with 13 doubles, three triples, five home runs and 39 RBI in 55 games played … led squad in stolen bases (17-22), second on team in on-base percentage (.451) and ranked third in bases-on-balls (36) … registered .933 fielding percentage … was hit by pitch 16 times.

1997-98 at Grayson J.C.: Played two seasons at Grayson Junior College in Denison, Texas for head coach Tim Tadlock, a former Texas Tech baseball player … played second and third base … named all conference … played in Texas Junior College All Star Game … in two seasons, hit .320 with 22 home runs, 90 RBI and had a fielding percentage of .970 … led Grayson to conference and regional titles and 51-15 record … led Grayson to a 49-9 record in 1997.
