AT ANGELINA COLLEGE
One of the top junior college pitching prospects in the state of Texas coming out of his final year at Angelina College... helped lead his team to an 11th place finish in the 2005 NJCAA National Rankings...finished with the fourth best ERA (2.17) among Texas/New Mexico junior college pitchers...was a First-Team All-Conference selection and a First-Team All-American...logged a 7-3 overall record with three saves...tallied a 2.17 ERA over 66 1/3 innings of work...struckout 88 batters while averaging 11.94 strikeouts per-game...made 15 appearances and 10 starts while hurling two complete games (one shutout)...IN 2004...compiled a 10-3 record and one save his first season at Angelina...logged 84 2/3 innings along with 100 strikeouts.
