Finished the 2003 season with a 2-4 overall record and two saves...6.02 ERA in 49 1/3 innings of work...Pitched an inning of relief against New Mexico on Feb. 1 and then again against West Texas A&M on Feb. 4...earned his first save of the year by pitching 1 1/3 innings of relief against San Diego in the first game of the series...picked up his first win of the season against San Diego in the final game of that series as he pitched the final 2.0 innings of the game...struckout the side in an inning of relief against San Francisco on Feb. 14 giving him his second save of the year...pitched an eight inning complete game in his first career start against TCU on Feb. 22 in the second game of a doubleheader...gave up a three-run home run in the fourth that gave him the loss despite holding TCU to just five hits while striking out eight...improved to 2-1 on the year against Southwest Texas on March 8 after matching a career-high eight innings of work with four strikeouts.

AT SAN DIEGO CITY COLLEGE Enrolled at San Diego City College in the fall of 2000...coached by Chris Brown, Glenn Godwin, Matt Cut and Daniel Phillips...played alongside Chris Mendonsa who is also on the Tech roster...was an All-Conference selection and was the California Junior College leader in strikeouts

Played varsity baseball at Montgomery High School in San Diego, Calif...coached by Manuel Hermosillo and Ernesto Hermosillo...helped lead his team to the League Championship as well as the CIF Championship...was the pitcher of record in a win over No. 1 Rancho Bernando in 2000...was an a All-League and All-CIF selection....Team Most Valuable Player....named the Union Tribune Athlete of the Week....Lions Tournament Most Valuable Player...drafted by the Chicago White Sox

Born on September 16, 1982 in San Diego, Calif. to parents Juan and Esperanza Razo...has two sisters...Nydia (22) and Mellissa (15)...enrolled at Texas Tech in January and is majoring in Exercise and Sport Science...hopes to be a high school math teacher and a baseball coach in the future...enjoys working outs, playing sports and playing video games in his spare time
