Reynolds is making a comeback from two major injuries that sidelined him for the past two seasons. During 1997 fall practice he injured his throwing arm and he learned that he would be out for the season with an injury. Reynolds, a senior with good size and much potential, was a medical redshirt during the 1997. He earned a letter in 1999.
1999: Did not pitch in a game in 1999 due to rehabilitation from arm injury and two surgeries … Big 12 Commissioner's Honor List member … earned letter but did not see any field-action.
