A 2008 graduate of Class 5A McNeil High School in Round Rock, Texas... earned varsity letters in baseball and was coached by former Red Raider Andy Dawson... was a three-time all-district selection... hit .425 as a sophomore and .400 with team records in hits and RBI as a junior... batted .400 as a senior with five home runs and 32 RBI... was a member of HOPE and was a regular on the academic honor roll.
