Finished the season with a .289 average along with 28 hits, three doubles, one home run and 15 RBIs...IN BIG 12 PLAY; finished the season as the team's fourth-best hitter with a .299 average along with three doubles and 10 RBIs...moved into the starting lineup at second base following the season-ending injury to Willie Rueda...made his first start of the year at Baylor on March 24...tallied a pair of multiple-hit games in the Kansas State series...also picked up his first home run of the season...led the Red Raider offfense in the two-game series against No. 13 Texas A&M...hit .571 (4-of-7) with two doubles and drove in two runs...matched his career long hit streak at five games on Tuesday, May 1 against Dallas Baptist by going 1-for-4 with an RBI.

Finished the season with a .205 average...made 23 starts and appeared in 31 of six newcomers to earn a start on opening day. Started all three-games of the Louisiana-Monroe series at first base and picked up his first career home run in the series finale...went 2-for-5 against Missouri (5/12) with two RBI and a solo home run.

Played just one season at the University of Arizona under head coach Andy Lopez...played in 25 games as a true freshman and made 15 starts...finished the season with a .316 (18-of-57) batting average along with a .404 slugging percentage and a .355 on-base percentage...notched five doubles and 10 RBI...drew four walks and 11 strikeouts...part of a 39-21 Arizona team that finished second in the Pac-10 regular-season and advanced to the NCAA Regionals hosted at Cal-State Fullerton.

A 2004 graduate of nearby Class 5A Clovis High School in Clovis, N.M....was a three-sport athlete (football, basketball and baseball)...coached by Eric Roanhaus, J.D. Isler and Shane Shallenberger...helped lead his team to a second place finish at the New Mexico High School State Championships in 2004...was an All-State shortstop/pitcher in 2004 as well as District MVP...hit .478 his senior season with five home runs while also totaling a 1.81 ERA as reliever along with five saves...on the gridiron he was a three-time All-State kicker.

Born on October 13, 1985 in Clovis, N.M...son of Larry and Margaret Seefeld...his father Larry is a C.P.A and a graduate of Eastern New Mexico...mother Margaret is a homemaker and also a graduate of Eastern New Mexico...has one older sister, Stefanie...enjoys going to the lake, playing golf, hunting and is learning to play the guitar...majoring in business.
