- Texas Tech is now 3-1 all-time against Indiana... this weekend marked the first-ever meetings between Tech and Indiana... the Hoosiers mark the seventh opponent from the Big Ten Conference to play the Red Raiders... Tech is now 36-34 all-time against Big Ten opponents... 52 of those meetings have come against Nebraska - who was an original member of the Big 12 Conference (1997-2011).

LHP Cameron Smith (6.0 IP, 5 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 1 BB, 2 SO)
- Earned first career win.
- Became the first Red Raider to earn a win pitching in relief throwing at least six innings since Brennan Stewart (6.1 IP - vs. UTSA) in 2011.
- Retired nine consecutive batters from the third-to-sixth inning.

LHP Jonny Drozd (2.0 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 2 SO)
- Owns a 22.2 consecutive scoreless innings pitched streak that dates back to last season.
- In seven career relief outings and 20 innings pitched in relief, owns a perfect 0.00 ERA.
- Marked 10th career scoreless appearance.

3B Jake Barrios (1-FOR-4, R, 2B, 2 RBI)
- Finished with a multiple-RBI performance for the first time this season (14th time during career).
- Drove in the game-winning run with a ground out in the first inning... third game-winning RBI during career.
