LUBBOCK, Texas - Junior right fielder Madison Edwards went 5-for-6 with five runs scored and five RBI to lead Texas Tech to a 30-8 pounding of the Harvard Crimson in the second game of a doubleheader on Saturday night at Dan Law Field.

Harvard took a one-run lead in the top of the first but it did not last as the Red Raiders scored five of their own in the bottom of the first.

Texas Tech scored in every inning of the game except for the second and the Red Raiders put up multiple run innings six different times.

Junior shortstop Cameron Blair and junior right fielder Madison Edwards each tallied five RBI on the day. Edwards paced the offense with a 5-for-6 day at the plate with five runs scored and a two-run home run.

Junior Juan Razo picked up the win in relief of Dallas Braden as he logged 3 2/3 innings allowing four hits and four earned runs and struckout five. Mike Morgalis took the loss for the Crimson as he gave up nine earned runs on 11 hits through 3 2/3.

Texas Tech will wrap up weekend play at 1 p.m. on Sunday afternoon against the Air Force Academy.
