  • Sophomore shortstop Chris Hall added his sixth sacrifice fly of the season that allowed Tech to tie the game in the top of the fifth. The sacrifice fly was his third of the day as he plated a pair of runs in Tech's 11-5 win over Northern Illinois earlier this afternoon. He finished the night with two RBIs.

  • Texas Tech now leads the all-time series with Texas State 6-4 but the Bobcats have won the last two meetings in the series.
