LUBBOCK, Texas - Nebraska's Adam Bailey hit his league-leading seventh home run and finished 3-for-5 at the plate with four RBIs to lead the Huskers to a 10-1 win over Texas Tech in the second game of a Big 12 Conference doubleheader on Saturday afternoon at Dan Law Field.

The win by Nebraska (11-4-1; 1-1) evens the series at 1-1 as the Red Raiders (7-10; 1-1) posted a 16-8 win in the first game earlier this afternoon. The rubber match is set for 2 p.m. on Sunday.

Texas Tech struck first in the bottom of the third when Chris Richburg drove in Willie Rueda with a two-out RBI single up the middle that gave the Red Raiders a 1-0 lead. Rueda drew a one-out single and moved to second on a groundout by shortstop Joey Kenworthy to set up the RBI opportunity for Richburg.

Unfortunately for the Red Raiders, the scoring would stop there.

Husker right fielder Adam Bailey, the league leader in home runs, blasted a two-run dinger over the right field wall in the top of the fourth to give Nebraska a 2-1 lead. The home run was his seventh and the first of two hits on the evening.

The Huskers went on to score in every inning except the ninth to post a commanding 10-1 win. Left-hander Jordan Roualdes handcuffed the Tech offense over eight innings as he held the Red Raiders to just one run on five hits and struckout three to improve to 2-1 on the year.

Freshman Louis Head (0-1), who made his first career start, suffered the loss after giving up three runs on one hit and five walks over 4 1/3 innings.
