Recap |  Box Score

  • Nebraska's four home runs ties the most given up by Texas Tech in a single game this season. Baylor hit four home runs in that three-game series finale back on May 1 in Waco.
  • Senior shortstop Cameron Blair picked up his 15th home run of the season in the bottom of the fourth when he hit a solo dinger over the left field fence. The home run surpasses his total of 14 that he set back in 2004. He finished the game with three hits and two RBI and that gives him 47 multiple-hit games and 33 multiple-RBI games in his career.
  • The Tech defense played error free tonight for the first time since the New Mexico game back on April 26 (span of eight games).
  • Junior first baseman Trey Stewart hit his first home run of the season in the bottom of the sixth. The home run was a solo shot that went over the fence just below the scoreboard in right-center field.
  • Texas Tech remains in seventh place in the Big 12 standings due to losses by both Kansas and Texas A&M.
