Recap |  Box Score

  • Today's game marked the 31st all-time meeting between Texas Tech and Missouri. Texas Tech's dramatic come-from-behind win ties the overall series between the two clubs at 17-17.
  • Texas Tech scored three runs in the bottom of the ninth to give the Red Raiders their sixth ninth-inning win at Dan Law Field this season. (Louisiana-Monroe 2/5, St. John's 2/19, UNC Asheville 3/10, Wayland Baptist 3/21, Texas Wesleyan 3/29 and now Missouri 5/13).
  • Today's dramatic win over Missouri gives the Red Raiders their second Big 12 series win of the season and the last since taking the final two games of the Baylor series back in early April.
  • Freshman left fielder Roger Kieschnick has now hit safely in 43 of 51 games this season and leads the team with 28 multiple-hit games. Kieschnick belted his eighth homer of the season in the bottom of the eighth inning.
  • Junior LHP Aaron Odom tossed 7 2/3 innings today and ended with a final pitch count of 139. The 7 2/3 innings is his longest of the season surpassing a pair of six-inning games against Houston (2/12) and Arizona State (4/17). He also surpassed his season-high (previously five vs. Houston 2/5) in strikeouts as he erased six Tiger hitters.
