  • Freshman left fielder Roger Kieschnick has now hit safely in 44 of 52 games this season and picked up his team-leading 29th multiple-hit game of the year. Kieschnick went 3-for-4 with one run scored to earn his eighth three-hit game of the season.
  • Sophomore Matt Smith is now hitting .394 on the season after going 3-for-4 with an RBI. Smith has 46 RBI on the season along with 15 doubles and seven home runs.
