Today's win over Missouri snapped a three-game losing skid to the Tigers and marked the first win of the year for the Red Raiders. The all-time series now favors the Tigers 24-20.
Today's win snapped a six-game losing streak for Texas Tech in the Big 12 Championship as the Red Raiders last win here was a 5-3 upset of Nebraska back on May 25, 2005.
The Red Raiders are now 13-19 all-time in Big 12 Championship play.
Texas Tech's win over Missouri has given the Red Raiders at least one win over every Big 12 opponent this season, a first for the program since 2000. Additionally, Tech has managed this feat just four times since the league began (1997, 1998, 2000 and 2009).
Texas Tech held Missouri to just four hits on the day, the lowest total for the Tigers since a 19-0 setback at Baylor on April 11.

Taylor Ashby had his 22nd multiple-hit game of the season, going 2-for-4 with an RBI. He also picked up his 25th, two-out RBI in the bottom of the eighth that tied the game at 2-2.
Jeremy Mayo extended his total to 24 base runners caught stealing in a single season. He finished second in the Big 12 in this category in the regular season.
