Feb. 1, 2007

LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech Head Baseball Coach Larry Hays announced today that the 2007 season opener against Stephen F. Austin has been pushed back to Saturday due to cold weather.

The Red Raiders and Lumberjacks will attempt to open the season on Saturday at 1 p.m. and play the second game of the series at 1 p.m. on Sunday. If at anytime the weather allows, a doubleheader could be played in order to get all three games of the series in.
