Baseball Team to Play Three-Game Home Series Against West Texas A&M
Red Raiders enter weekend with 0-1 record.

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech baseball team will play a three-game home series this weekend against West Texas A&M. Game times for the series are 3 p.m. on Friday, 12:00 noon on Saturday and 2 p.m. on Sunday.
Texas Tech (0-1) enters the weekend after having lost its first game at New Mexico 7-6 on Tuesday, Feb. 3. Feb. 4's game at New Mexico was cancelled due to inclement weather (snow and cold).
Texas Tech's pitching rotation has yet to be decided upon as of late Thursday.
West Texas A&M's head coach Todd Howey played at Texas Tech from 1983 to 1985. A two-time All-SWC selection for the Red Raiders, Howey was named SWC Freshman of the Year in 1983 and helped lead Tech to the national batting title as a sophomore in 1984. Howey once hit four home runs in a game, a Texas Tech record. He participated in the 1998 Alumni Game on Saturday, Jan. 31.
