LUBBOCK, Texas - Funeral arrangements for former Texas Tech first baseman Mark Austry, who died tragically after completing the Rock N' Roll Half-Marathon in Dallas on Sunday afternoon, have been announced.

Services for the 32-year old husband and father of two will be held on Friday, March 19 at 2 p.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church in Coppell, Texas. The church is located at 180 Samuel Blvd. Immediately following the funeral service, a reception will be held in Mark's memory at the Lantana Golf Club in Lantana, Texas at approximately 5 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family has set up a college trust fund for daughter's Isabella (age 3) and Anna (age 1). To donate, please contact Britt Harper with Edward D. Jones in Seminole, Texas.

Texas Tech baseball will honor Mark's legacy prior to first pitch of Tuesday's (March 16) game against Texas State at Dan Law Field. Junior first baseman Stephen Hagen will wear Austry's No. 9 jersey against the Bobcats.
