LUBBOCK, Texas - Heavy rains in the Lubbock area have forced the postponement of Friday night's Big 12 baseball game between Texas Tech and Texas that was scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at Dan Law Field.

Texas Tech and Texas will now play a doubleheader beginning at 2 p.m. on Saturday afternoon. Fans who have purchased tickets for Friday's game can redeem them for either of the two games on Saturday.

The pre-game presentation featuring the family of Rick Husband will take place just prior to the start of the 2 p.m. game on Saturday.

TICKET INFORMATION

  • Two seperate tickets will be required on Saturday (one ticket for the 2 p.m. game and another for the second game of the doubleheader).
  • Season Ticket Holders: Saturday's 2 p.m. becomes Event #17 and the second game is Event #18 - Sunday's game remains Event #19.
  • If the only ticket you purchased for the series was for Friday night, you can redeem them for either game on Saturday or for any other home baseball game through the remainder of the 2004 season. Tickets are NON-REFUNDABLE.
