LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech baseball team earned its first national ranking of the season this week as Collegiate Baseball Magazine tabbed the Red Raiders as No. 30 in this week's poll.

Texas Tech is currently on a season-high eight-game win streak that includes two Big 12 Conference sweeps of Iowa State and arch-rival Texas A&M. Texas Tech will take its No. 30 national ranking to Norman, Okla. this weekend for a three-game series with the Oklahoma Sooners. Tech and OU will start the series at 7 p.m. on Friday night and then play a 6 p.m. game on Saturday and a 1 p.m. game on Sunday. Note: Saturday's game was originally scheduled for 2 p.m. but was moved in order not to conflict with the spring football game.
