No. 19 Oklahoma State Game Notes
TEXAS TECH HOSTS NO. 19 OKLAHOMA STATE IN WEEKEND SERIES
Texas Tech (21-24, 6-12 Big 12) welcomes No. 19 Oklahoma State (32-11, 7-7 Big 12) for a three-game Big 12 Conference series, May 3-5, at Dan Law Field at Rip Griffin Park. The series opener and game two of the series will have a national viewing audience with both games on FOX College Sports. It will be a battle of two programs with first-year head coaches who are back coaching at their alma mater as both Tim Tadlock (Texas Tech, 1990-91) and Josh Holliday (Oklahoma State, 1996-99) have returned to coach in the Big 12 Conference. Tech has won four of its last six games and enters the weekend after knocking off back-to-back nationally-ranked opponents. The Red Raiders will play seven of their final eight regular season games at home while currently in a stretch where it will play seven straight games against three ranked teams. Texas Tech is 15-7 at home and 2-4 at home during Big 12 play. OSU is 6-5 on the road and 2-4 on the road in Big 12 action.
