OKLAHOMA CITY -- Catcher Josh Bard of champion Texas Tech was voted Most Outstanding Player at the Big 12 Conference tournament and was one of five Red Raiders named to the all-tournament team.

Other Red Raiders selected in balloting by media who covered the tournament were second baseman Keith Ginter, outfielder Jason Landreth, designated hitter Brennan Burns and pitcher Shane Wright.

Runner-up Texas A&M had six players named--third baseman Craig Kuzmic, shortstop Steve Scarborough, outfielders Jason Tyner and Daylan Holt, pitcher Ryan Rupe and pitcher Chris Scarcella.

Other all-tournament picks were designated hitter Richard Park of Oklahoma and first baseman Charley Carter of Baylor.
