Masek earned a 4.0 GPA this spring semester

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech baseball program announced 20 student-athletes earned academic honor roll recognition during the spring 2012 semester.

Among the 20 active Red Raiders that tallied at least a 3.0 grade point average for the spring, eight earned Dean's List status (3.50-3.99 GPA) while sophomore right-handed pitcher Trey Masek earned a perfect 4.0 GPA.

Recently it was announced that the Red Raiders led the Big 12 with 11 Academic All-Big 12 selections with a league-leading seven first team selections. Both marks are Texas Tech records in the classroom.
