Complete Baseball America Summer All-American Team LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech senior shortstop Cameron Blair has been named a first-team selection to Baseball America's prestigious summer All-America team for his outstanding summer season with the Fairbanks Goldpanners in the Alaska League. Blair finished the summer with .333 batting average (74 of 117) and tallied eight doubles, two triples, 11 home runs and had 27 RBI. His outstanding season helped him garner Alaska League Player of the Year accolades and the Goldpanners went on to finish second at the annual NBC World Series in Wichita, Kan., earlier this month. "This is a great honor and I am grateful to Baseball America," said Blair. "I had a great summer and played with a bunch of really good guys and will remember it for the rest of my life. I am looking forward to my senior year at Texas Tech and hopefully a lot more good things to come."
