Texas Tech Baseball Red & Black Series Continues Monday
Withrow will start for the Black Team after earning the save in Game 1

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech baseball team continues its annual Red & Black Series with Game 2 on Monday, Oct. 29 at 6:30 p.m. at Dan Law Field at Rip Griffin Park. Admission is free.
The Black Team looks to clinch the series after taking Game 1 with a 3-0 victory last Monday. The annual fall series will conclude with Game 3 scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 30 at 3 p.m.
The Black Team will start freshman right-handed pitcher Matt Withrow (Odessa, Texas/Midland Christian HS) while the Red Team will go with sophomore right-handed pitcher Dominic Moreno (Farmington, N.M./Piedra HS/Howard College).
Both Withrow and Moreno made appearances during Game 1 while both newcomers had successful one-inning outings. Withrow earned the save in the series opener pitching a scoreless frame with two strikeouts. Moreno also pitched a scoreless inning while he struck out three Black Team batters.
For the second straight week Double T 1043's Suddenlink Game Day Live will get the day started hosting the "Bottom Line" live on location with co-hosts Casey Cowan and Jamie Lent from 3-6 p.m.
Joining Cowan and Lent during the broadcast for interviews will be Red Raider first-year head coach Tim Tadlock (3:30 p.m.) and former Red Raider and Pittsburgh Pirates 2012 supplemental first-round pick Barrett Barnes (4:30 p.m.).
Fans are encouraged to park west of the stadium in the parking lot that runs from behind home plate down the first base/right-field line of the ballpark.
