Luke Adams has gone from walk-on to college gradutate, as the senior from Big Spring earned his bachelor's degree over the summer in exercise sports science. Adams, who is a member of the USA Deaf National Team, has served as a vital cog for the Red Raiders over the last three seasons.

JUNIOR (2013-14)
Luke Adams earned valuable experience over the summer as the starting point guard on the USA Deaf National Team. Adams has appeared in 50 career games, making seven starts over the last three seasons. He gives added depth at the point guard position, making 11 appearances this season.

SUMMER 2013 -- Served as a member of the USA Deaf National Team ... competed at the 22nd Deaflympics in Sofia, Bulgaria, earning a Bronze Medal for the United States ... started seven straight games for Team USA, averaging 10 points, 3.9 steals, 3.7 rebounds and 3.6 assists.

SOPHOMORE (2012-13) -- Appeared in 16 games, averaging 1.7 points per game, including a season-high seven against Grambling State ... has scored in nine of 16 games ... is a career 81.0 percent free throw shooter ... named to the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll for the fall semester ... selected to the 2012-13 Dean's List.

FRESHMAN (2011-12) -- Played in 23 games earning seven starts as a freshman ... averaged 4.2 points and 1.0 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game ... came off the bench at TCU on Dec. 6 to appear in first career college game, recording three points and three assists in 11 minutes ... notched first career start against Grambling State on Dec. 18, hitting five of 10 3-pointers for 15 points ... connected on 3-of-6 3-pointers and added a 4-for-4 performance from the line at Kansas State for 15 points ... added 11 points against Missouri on March 3 ... shot 80.8 percent from the line (21-26) ... was third on the squad in 3-pointers made (23) and attempted (61) ... ranked second on the squad in 3-point percentage (37.7) ... named to the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll for the fall and spring semesters ... selected to the 2011-12 Dean's List.

PRIOR TO TEXAS TECH -- Averaged 26.9 points, 3.5 assists and 3.8 steals as a senior at Big Spring High School ... led Class 3A in scoring last year and was sixth overall in the state ... earned first team All-State honors as a senior ... was a two-time first team All-District selection and named to the Big Country Super Team as a junior and senior ... led Big Spring to its first Class 4A district title in 31 years in 2010 as a junior ... earned first team TAPPS All-State honors as a sophomore at Lubbock Trinity ... Led the state of Texas in free throws during the 2008-09 season, winning the TABC Free Throw Award ... helped Lubbock Trinity secure a district title as a sophomore.
