Luke Adams has gone from walk-on to college gradutate, as the senior from Big Spring earned his bachelor's degree over the summer in exercise sports science. Adams, who is a member of the USA Deaf National Team, has served as a vital cog for the Red Raiders over the last three seasons.
SENIOR (2014-15) Has appeared in seven of 18 games, playing 11 minutes.
JUNIOR (2013-14) Earned valuable experience over the summer as the starting point guard on the USA Deaf National Team. Adams has appeared in 50 career games, making seven starts over the last three seasons. He gives added depth at the point guard position, making 11 appearances this season.
SUMMER 2013 Served as a member of the USA Deaf National Team ... competed at the 22nd Deaflympics in Sofia, Bulgaria, earning a Bronze Medal for the United States ... started seven straight games for Team USA, averaging 10 points, 3.9 steals, 3.7 rebounds and 3.6 assists.
