Justin Jamison is a big presence in the middle, who is versitile and can play both the four and five positions. A former 13th Round Pick of the Texas Rangers, Jamison switched to basketball after an arm injury sidelined his professional baseball career.

Justin Jamison spent one season at Missouri State-West Plains, where he averaged 10.4 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per game ... in region play, he averaged 14.5 points, 7.8 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game and had shooting percentages of 69 percent from the field ... his best game was Feb. 15 at Three Rivers College in Poplar Bluff, where he scored 25 points, grabbed 11 rebounds and recorded three blocks ... he also stood out against Mineral Area College, as he scored 20 points and grabbed 14 rebounds ... earned All-Region 16 honors at Missouri State-West Plains ... named Missouri State-West Plains Male Athlete of the Year ... at Strongville (Ohio) High School, lettered in both baseball and basketball ... earned First Team All-State honors, as well as being named Ohio High School Player of the Year at Strongville ... was a Rawlings Preseason First Team All-America selection and Rawlings Second Team All-America at season's end ... earned First Team All-Region honors in basketball as a junior at Cleveland Benedictine High School, where he helped lead the Bengals to the regional finals ... in baseball, earned All-State honors for Benedictine ... named Second Team All-Region as a sophomore in basketball ... spent his freshman season at Garfield Heights (Ohio) High School ... selected by the Texas Rangers in the 13th round of the 2009 First-Year Player Draft out of Strongsville ... originally signed to play baseball at Ohio State ... named a three-star recruit by 247Sports.com ... rated the 30th best junior college player in the nation and the second best JUCO player in the state of Missouri ... rated the fifth best JUCO post in the nation by 247Sports.com ... chose Texas Tech over Florida State, Kent State, Oregon, Pittsburgh and SMU.
