Kader Tapsoba could give the Red Raiders a much needed presence on defense, with his 6-10 frame and 7-2 wingspan. He sat out last year, after suffering a season-ending leg injury. At Tyler Junior College, Tapsoba ranked fifth nationally in the NJCAA Division I in blocked shots as a sophomore with 3.5 per game.
