PRIOR TO TEXAS TECH A four-year letterwinner for his father Anthony Wagner at Lubbock Estacado High School ... two-time South Plains Player of the Year, All-City selection and District MVP ... two-time first team Class 3A All-State honoree ... also earned first team All-District honors as a freshman and sophomore ... led Estacado to the 2010 Texas UIL State Championship as a junior ... led Estacado to a 34-2 mark, averaging 16.8 points, 3.6 assists, 2.0 steals and 2.2 rebounds as a senior ... a three-star recruit, listed as one of the top 50 point guards in the 2011 recruiting class, according to ESPNU.
