Red Raiders run past Aggies 82-68|

Lubbock, TX - The Texas Tech Red Raiders bounced back from a slow start to defeat Texas A&M 82-68 in front of a crowd of 7,592 at Lubbock Municipal Coliseum Wednesday night.
Tech made only three field goals in the first 11 minutes of the game while falling behind 21-10 with 9:49 to go in the first half. Rayford Young hit a three-pointer with 8:54 to go in the half, sparking a 10-0 Raider run that elevated the team to a 38-33 halftime lead.
The win moves Texas Tech's record to 10-7 on the season and evens the Raiders at 2-2 in the Big 12.
Young, who did not start because of an ankle injury and fouled out of the game after only 16 minutes of playing time, came off the bench to score a game-high 22 points, including 13 in the last nine minutes of the first half.
Andy Ellis scored 14 points and Mario Lane and Jevon Banks each added 10 to help Texas Tech bury the Aggies in the second half.
