Attendance: 8,248. For the season, the Red Raiders are averaging 7,674 per game during their 18 home games this season.

Oklahoma now leads the all-time series, 34-19. The series is tied 4-4 over the last eight meetings.

The Red Raiders are now 8-5 in weekday games and 2-3 in games played on Wednesday.

The game marked the ninth time in 11 games that Texas Tech has faced an RPI Top 50 team. The Sooners have an RPI of 17.

Texas Tech has now scored more than 60 points in three consecutive Big 12 games for the first time since 2011. It has been 31 league games since that has happened.

Texas Tech recorded more points off turnovers than Oklahoma (16-12). It was the fifth time in 13 Big 12 games that the Red Raiders have done this.

Freshman Josh Gray finished the night with a career-high 26 points, four rebounds, five assists and four steals with just one turnover. It is the most points by a Texas Tech freshman since Jordan Tolbert had 27 twice last season. It is also a Texas Tech freshman record for points in a Big 12 game. The previous high was 25 by John Roberson against Baylor and later tied against Missouri in 2008.

Through the first 18 games of the season, Josh Gray had 47 assists and 58 turnovers. Over the last eight games, the freshman has had 31 assists and 20 turnovers. For the season, he now has 78 assists and 78 turnovers. He is averaging 3.3 assists per game. It is the third highest assist average for a freshman in program history.

Junior Jay Crockett recorded 15 points and seven rebounds. It was his 16th double figure scoring game of the season and the 35th of his career. More importantly, Crockett moved past 700 career points. He now has 712 career points in 86 career games.

Sophomore Jordan Tolbert finished the night with 10 points and seven rebounds. It was Tolbert's 12th double figure scoring effort this season and the 28th of his career. He has scored 579 points in 55 career games and has scored in every game he has ever played in.

Sophomore Clark Lammert tied his season high with six points in 10 minutes of action. It was the third time this season that Lammert has reached six points in a game. The 6-8 forward connected on a pair of 3-pointers in the game.
