LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech continued their winning streak as they took down the Lamar Cardinals 77-54 Saturday night at the United Spirit Arena.

Nick Okorie had a game-high 19 points followed by D'walyn Roberts and John Roberson with 15 and 11 points, respectively. The Red Raiders (5-0) scored 35 of their points by players coming off the bench and they scored 29 points off of turnovers. Okorie also had four steals. Texas Tech shot 73.3 percent from the foul line.

"I was really happy. We gave them stretches there," Tech head coach Pat Knight said. "We are fast and can push it up. Anytime you can stay within 10 or 12 turnovers it's pretty good. We had a big problem last year with that."

Okorie hit a half court shot to send the Red Raiders to the locker room at the half with a 10-point lead.

Charlie Harper led the Cardinals with 12 points and Justin Nabors led with 10 rebounds.

The Red Raiders travel to Nacogdoches, Texas, Tuesday to take on Stephen F. Austin at 7 p.m.
