Men's Basketball Downs Louisiana-Lafayette, 94-73

LAFAYETTE, La. (AP) - Jamal Brown scored 23 points and had 11 assists to lead Texas Tech to a 94-73 victory over Louisiana-Lafayette on Saturday. Brown was 7-of-12 from the field and 5-of-8 from the line. Andy Ellis added 20 points for the Red Raiders who shot nearly 60 percent from the field. Orlando Butler scored 18 points for the Ragin' Cajuns and was 5-of-17 from the field and 5-of-5 from the line. Brad Boyde added 14 points and Darryl Robins 12 for Louisiana-Lafayette.
