Red Raiders Fall to Cross-State Rival TCU|

FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) - Lee Nailon scored 26 points and Marquise Gainous had 24 Tuesday night as Texas Christian struck from both inside and outside in a 105-86 victory over Texas Tech.
Nailon, who also had 10 rebounds, and Gainous teamed with Shannon Long, who had 19 points, to dominate inside for the Horned Frogs (8-2).
Guards Prince Fowler and Vladimir Jaksic, meanwhile, kept the Red Raiders (4-3) honest from the outside. Fowler had 15 assists and scored 11 points and Jaksic added 14 points, including four of seven 3-point attempts.
The Frogs hit 60 percent of their shots (17 of 28) in the first half and led 50-37 at halftime. TCU shot 66 percent overall.
Tech couldn't get closer than 11 points in the second half.
Stan Bonewitz led the Red Raiders with 21 points. Tech also got 13 points from Jayson Mitchell. Johnny Phillips added 10 points and 12 rebounds.
