Starting for UTEP: Randy Culpepper (3), Julyan Stone (5), 41 Christian Polk (41), Claude Britten (32), and Jeremy Williams (34).

At the Half. UTEP led at the half, 42-40. The Miners sank 16-of-31 FG attempts (.516), 2-of-6 Three-Pt. FG attempts (.333), and 8-of-15 FT attempts (.533).

The Red Raiders made 16-of-32 FG attempts (.500), 1-of-3 Three-Pt. FG attempts (.333), and 7-of-8 FT attempts (.875).

Final Score: UTEP 82 Texas Tech 71

UTEP had three players in double figures: Randy Culpepper (28), Julyan Stone (15), and Claude Britten (11).

Mike Singletary led the Red Raiders with 17 points. Brad Reese followed with 16 points with D'walyn Roberts and John Roberson each adding 10 points.

The lead changed 16 times and the score was tied eight times.

With the loss, the Red Raiders are 5-6 on the season, and take on the Mavericks of UT Arlington at the United Spirit Arena on Wednesday evening, Dec. 22.
