Texas Tech Quick Hits A win over Oklahoma State would give the Red Raiders a 2-3 mark to open conference play for the third time since 2008. Texas Tech looks to snap a nine-game losing streak to Oklahoma State at the Gallagher-Iba Arena. The last Red Raider win in Stillwater came on Feb. 26, 2003. Texas Tech is looking to win two Big 12 road games for the first time since 2011 and the third time since 2007. The Red Raiders are coming off of a 81-63 loss at Oklahoma on Wednesday, while OSU lost to the Sooners, 77-68 last Saturday. Texas Tech finished the non-conference portion of its schedule 7-4. It was the longest homestand in program history at 11 games. This is the 52nd meeting between the two schools, with Oklahoma State leading the series, 38-13. Oklahoma State has won four straight against Texas Tech. Texas Tech is averaging 70.7 possessions per game and 1.00 points per possession, while Oklahoma State is averaging 67.6 possessions and 1.04 points per possession. Last season, Texas Tech averaged 0.92 points per possession. Jaye Crockett is the second leading Sixth Man in the nation (13.8 points) and leads in rebounding (8.3 boards) off the bench among the major conferences. Crockett has led the team in scoring 10 times this season. Since Dusty Hannahs moved into the starting rotation, he has gone from 3.6 points per game off the bench to 9.7 points per game in his seven starts. Josh Gray is second in the Big 12 and 54th nationally in steals (2.1), while averaging 9.5 points and 2.7 assists per game. Dejan Kravic recorded his third 20-point game of the season against Oklahoma after connecting on 8 of 10 from the field and 4 of 7 from the line. He is adding 10.2 points and 5.2 rebounds per game.
