Lubbock, TX - The Red Raiders host the Missouri Tigers on Wednesday at the United Spirit Arena. The 7:00 PM (CT) game will be televised on ESPN Plus. Dave Armstrong will call the play-by-play. Paul Splittorff will provide the game analysis.

Mark Finkner will call the courtside action along with Corky Oglesby as analyst on the Texas Tech Sports Network local stations KQBR-FM 99.5 and KKAM-AM 1340.

Texas Tech and Missouri are meeting for the sixteenth time since the series began on December 5, 1955. The Tigers lead the series by a single game, 8-7. Texas Tech has a 5-1 margin when the teams have played in Lubbock. Missouri leads the series in Columbia, 5-2 and 2-0 on neutral courts. Last season, the Tigers topped the Red Raiders in Columbia, 71-58. The win last season by Missouri on January 27 ended Texas Tech's three-game winning streak against the Tigers.

The Red Raiders are 10-7 for the season and 1-2 in conference play. The Raiders lost at Oklahoma State (75-55) on January 12 and then defeated # 9/10 Texas A&M on January 16, 68-53, for Coach Bob Knight's 900th career win. Oklahoma edged the Red Raiders last Saturday in Norman, 63-61.

Martin Zeno led both teams in scoring with 17 points. John Roberson and Alan Voskuil each dropped in 14 points against OU. Texas Tech has three players averaging double figures for the season in Martin Zeno (16.3), Alan Voskuil (12.5), and John Roberson (11.7).



Missouri is 11-7 for the season and 1-2 in conference play. They completed the non-conference portion of the season with 10 wins and 5 losses. The Tigers opened conference play on January 12 with a win over Texas, 97-84. On January 12, the Tigers lost at Iowa State, 72-67. The Tigers lost their last game against Kansas on Saturday, 76-70. They have three players scoring in double

figures in Stefhon Hannah (14.6), DeMarre Carroll (14.3), and Leo Lyons (11.6).

Texas Tech travels to Austin on Saturday, January 26 for a 7 PM (CT) game against Texas. After the Missouri game, the next home game for the Red Raiders will be on February 2 against Oklahoma State.
