Texas Tech Preps for Road Game at Nebraska

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech Red Raiders (16-11/4-9) have two road games and one home game remaining as Big 12 conference play nears a close.
The Red Raiders travel to Lincoln for their Saturday afternoon game featured on the Big 12 Network with the Nebraska Cornhuskers (13-15/1-12) at the Devaney Sports Center.
In Lubbock, the 3 PM game will air on KJTV-TV with Dave Armstrong providing the play-by-play and Jon Sundvold adding the game analysis.
Red Raider fans can also listen to Mark Finkner and Corky Oglesby on Double T 104.3.
Texas Tech and Nebraska are meeting for the 25th time since the series began on December 9, 1955.
Nebraska has a 15-9 lead in the series. They have an 8-3 margin in Lincoln. The Huskers have won the only neutral site meeting. Each team has won six games in Lubbock.
The Cornhuskers have won the previous three meetings.
Texas Tech's last win in Lincoln was on February 18, 2006. Red Raider Jarrius Jackson led all scorers with 41 points.
After completing non-conference play with a 10-3 mark, the Huskers are 1-12 in conference play with a win over Oklahoma on January 30, 63-46.
Nebraska is averaging 66.0 points per game and allowing their opponents 64.5 points each game.
In conference play, the Huskers have scored 61.5 points over their first 13 games and their Big 12 opponents have scored 71.7 points per game.
Ryan Anderson leads the Cornhuskers with 11.0 points and 4.8 rebounds per game.
Texas Tech has averaged 76.1 points per game for the season and has allowed their opponents 74.9 points per game.
The Red Raiders have three players in double figures for the season. Mike Singletary and John Roberson have started every game and both are averaging 14.7 points per outing. David Tairu adds 10.4 points per game coming off the bench.
In conference games, John Roberson is averaging 15.6 points per game. Mike Singletary is posting 13.6 points per contest.
Texas Tech is averaging 71.5 points per conference game and has allowed their opponents 79.5 points per game.
The Raiders then return home for their final conference home game of the season against Baylor on March 2 at 7 PM.
The Texas Tech Athletic Department is offering $1 general admission tickets for the Tuesday men's home game against Baylor as well as the two remaining home women's basketball games.
Texas Tech's final conference game will be at Colorado on Saturday, March 6 at 3 PM on the Big 12 Network.
