March 20, 2011
LUBBOCK, Texas - With the Lady Raiders filling out their dance card in the NCAA Tournament for the first time in five years and the hiring of Billy Gillispie to lead the men's basketball program, Texas Tech is experiencing a high level of enthusiasm for both basketball programs.
Beginning this evening, Texas Tech will be giving fans the opportunity to become season tickets holders for both men's and women's basketball. Season ticket prices from 2010-11 will not change so fans that didn't purchase those season packages last year can do so immediately at the same low cost. Deposits for new season tickets are currently being accepted on texastech.com and through the athletics ticket office beginning on Monday morning.
Season tickets holders from 2010-11 that did not purchase the 3 Point Option, will have the opportunity to purchase those options as a "last chance offer" now through April 29. Purchasing this option will allow those fans to keep their current seat locations versus running the risk of losing those seats when the renewal process begins. This last chance offer is for $150 (the original cost of the 3 Point Option) and will maintain a level of priority for fans that purchased season tickets last season but not the option.
Season ticket renewals will begin later this summer and fans will be contacted directly by the athletics department in regards to renewal process. To place a deposit on new season tickets or to purchase the 3-Point Option from 2010-11, visit us online at texastech.com/tickets or contact the athletics ticket office beginning Monday morning at (806) 742-TECH or 888-GOBIG12.
