LUBBOCK, Texas - Coach Pat Knight has signed another recruit to a National Letter of Intent. The newest Texas Tech player is from Temple Hills, Maryland.

For his efforts, David was voted the Most Valuable Player in the conference and earned a spot on the Region 5 team.
In his first season at South Plains College, David and current Red Raider, Nick Okorie, won the NJCAA National Tournament. Steve Green's squad completed the year with 30 wins and 5 losses. David averaged 14.4 points and 3.7 rebounds in his first collegiate season. An All-Conference selection as a freshman, David had a season-high of 28 points and scored in double figures 29 times.
David is the fifth addition to the Red Raiders next season. He joins incoming juniors Brad Reese (Gulf Coast Community College / Panama City, Florida) and Theron Jenkins (Itawamba Community College / Fulton, Mississippi). The three junior college standouts will be joined by two incoming freshmen, Jaye Crockett (Clovis High School / Clovis, New Mexico) and Mike Davis (Wheatley High School / Houston, Texas).
