LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech will have a record 32 games televised during the 2013-14 men's basketball regular season, announced Red Raider head coach Tubby Smith.

It is the most televised games for the Red Raiders since broadcasting 30 games during the 2007-08 season.

The Red Raiders will televise 17 regular season home games, as well as its lone exhibition game, which is slated for Nov. 1 at 7 p.m. against Angelo State at the United Spirit Arena and can be seen on Fox College Sports. This marks the first time in school history that Texas Tech has broadcast an exhibition game.

In all, Texas Tech will play 10 regular season games on the ESPN family of networks, another 11 on the Big 12 Network and seven on the FOX Sports platforms. It is the most games on ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPNU since 2007, when the Red Raiders made 13 appearances.

The Red Raiders will also be seen twice on the Pac-12 Network in road games at Arizona (Dec. 3) and Arizona State (Dec. 21), as well as once on the Longhorn Network against Texas in Austin (Jan. 11).

The lone television game that is still yet to be announced is the Jan. 18 meeting with TCU in Fort Worth. The Horned Frogs are expected to announce their television schedule next week.

The Red Raiders open practice on Monday under new head coach Tubby Smith.
