The Red Raiders are on the road against Sam Houston State in Huntsville, Texas on Wednesday, November 14. The game will be televised on the Texas Tech Television Network (TTTN) with game coverage provided in Lubbock and in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
John Harris will call the play-by-play. Gregg Elkin will provide the game analysis. In Lubbock, KLBK-TV (CBS) will provide coverage of the game. In the Dallas-Fort Worth area, the game can be seen on KFWD-TV Channel 52.
Texas Tech won their season opener, 68-56, against the University of California Riverside on Saturday, November 10. The Red Raiders have won each season opener under Coach Bob Knight.
Martin Zeno led all scorers with 19 points. Junior Alan Voskuil added 12 points. Texas Tech's 16 steals against the Highlanders was their highest total since grabbing the same number against UT-Pan American on December 10, 2005.
Mark Finkner will call the courtside action along with Corky Oglesby as analyst on the Texas Tech Sports Network local stations KQBR-FM 99.5 and KKAM-1340 AM.
Basketball and football fans have the opportunity to watch their Red Raiders twice on Saturday, November 17. The Red Raiders return to the United Spirit Arena for their 11:00 AM tip-off against Stephen F. Austin. Be sure catch the last home football game of the season on Saturday evening when Texas Tech hosts Oklahoma. Game time is 7 PM.
