Men's Basketball Broadcasts Begin with Texas-San Antonio

Listing of Texas stations to carry Red Raider games.

LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech University men's basketball can be heard in a variety of areas during the 1998-99 season, which begins Thursday against Texas-San Antonio.

Lubbock's KKAM (1340) will again serve as the flagship station. All 29 regular-season Red Raider games plus the Phillips 66 Big 12 Conference Tournament will be broadcast.

Texas Tech's legendary play-by-play announcer Jack Dale will again call the action for the Red Raiders in 1998-99. Pregame coverage begins approximately 25 minutes before tip-off.
