After three opening wins at home and a record-setting 167-point scoring performance, the Red Raiders host the Colonels of Eastern Kentucky from Richmond, Kentucky on Saturday at 1:00 PM.

Overall, Eastern Kentucky leads the series 2-1. The Red Raiders won their neutral site meeting in 1993. Eastern Kentucky won in Lubbock in 1960 and won on their home court in 1971.

Saturday's 1:00 PM game is the second round game of the Lubbock Regional in the Legends Classic sponsored by The Gazelle Group. The game will not be televised.

The Red Raiders set numerous records in their 167-115 win over East Central Oklahoma in the Legends Classic first round game on Thursday evening at the United Spirit Arena. Trevor Cook led both team in scoring with 20 points as ten Tech players scored in double figures.

Former Texas Tech player, coach, and now, Director of Athletics, Gerald Myers was honored as a "Legend" during Thursday's game. He was a standout player for Coach Polk Robison for three years, the Red Raider head coach for 20.5 seasons in which he won 326 games - the highest among all Raider basketball coaches, and has served the university and the Texas Tech community as Director of Athletics for 12 years.

Mark Finkner will call Thursday's courtside action along with analyst Corky Oglesby on the Texas Tech Sports Network local station KKAM-AM 1340.
